Patricia Lee Friedt
August 25, 1946 – June 19, 2021

After a long hard-fought battle, it is with extreme sadness and heavy hearts that we announce
the passing of our beloved mother and grandma, Patricia Friedt. Mom passed away peacefully
with her family by her side.
Mom is survived by her daughter Kimberly and her husband Brian, grandchildren Ryder and
Kylie, her son Dean and his wife Dannielle, grandchildren Chase and Reese, siblings Howard
(Phyllis), Bill (Florence), Robert (Heather) and Judy, as well as our Dad’s brother and sisters.
Mom also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
Mom was predeceased by her husband Don, her parents Katherine and Gordon Cockwill, sisterin-law Carol Cockwill, and her mother and father-in-law, Philip and Mary Friedt.
Special thanks to the palliative and home care teams in Cochrane, as well as the staff at
AgeCare SkyPointe hospice in Calgary, who provided amazing care to our Mom.
A donation can be made in lieu of flowers to the Canadian Lung Association.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
