The family of Orest Prokopie would like to express our sincere appreciation for all who attended the funeral services and donated in memory of our beloved Orest. Thank you for the many gifts of food, flowers, huge hugs, phone  calls, visits, tears shed together, well wishers and advice  given – all was welcomed and appreciated.

To Maryane and staff of Beau Lac Funeral Home for your expertise, compassion and professionalism in caring for Orest and our family during this very difficult time, we thank you.  The slide presentation created by Barry of Big Drum  Media was exceptional depicting Orest’s life.  The video at the end portrayed Orest’s sense of humor which added a sense of  calm after the service.  Thank you Lorne for organizing and ushering guests to their seats in a professional manner.

Deacon Eldon Danielson performed a beautiful service focusing on Orest’s life as a man who loved his family, friends and his ability to calm situations with humor and respect.

To the  police escort, official honored guard, co-workers in uniform and retired staff, we thank you and appreciate the tribute and respect you demonstrated in memory of Orest.  He would have been proud.

Thank you to all who organized and served the lunch, the choir, the pall bearers and all who attended to pay their last respects to Orest.  We will always remember the memories you shared with us and the respect you had for Orest.  Thank you everyone.
