Oliver Peters

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Oliver Peters, late of Vancouver, BC formerly of Sturgeon Lake, SK on April 19th, 2022, at the age of 79 years. Oliver was born in Prince Albert, SK on January 25th, 1943, to Francios Campbell & William Peters. Oliver will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Norma Janvier; his grandchildren Shuanne Janvier, & Marcus (Melanie) Janvier; his great-grandchildren Eliana, Markiesha, Melika, Melia, Makaleigh, Makaila, & Maverick; his brothers Brian Campbell, Donald Campbell, Elwood (Gladys) Peters, Lance Peters, & Lorne Peters; his adopted siblings Leonard Ermine, Annette Naytowhow, Lorraine Williams, & Sharon Daniels; his adopted aunt Joseph Wichihin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins from the Peters, Naytowhow, Campbell, and Wichihin families. Oliver was predeceased by his wife Valerie; his parents Francios Campbell & William Peters; his siblings Roy Peters, Edgar Peters, Louie Peters, Louise Peters, Dale Campbell, Russell Campbell, Marlene Peters, Pauline Royal, Jewel Littlecrow, Irvin (Priscilla) Peters, Ina Peters, & Lena Peters; his uncle Harris & Isadore Wichihin; his aunt Virginia, Elsie; his niece Delphine; his adopted parents William (Virginia) Nayowhow; & his adopted siblings Arnold, Florence, Kathy, Chuck, Barney, Geraldine, Julia. A Wake Service will be held on Saturday, January 21st, 2023, at 4:00 PM at the Sturgeon Lake Community Hall in Sturgeon Lake, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 23rd, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Sturgeon Lake Community Hall in Sturgeon Lake, SK. The Officiant will be Elders. The Honourary Pallbearers will be all those who knew & loved Oliver. The Interment will take place at the East End Cemetery in Sturgeon Lake, SK.
