OLIVER HENDERSON

Oliver Jerimiah Henderson was born on Friday, February 26, 1960 in Prince Albert, SK and passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 in La Ronge, SK at the age of 57 years. Oliver is survived by his loving family, his companion, Charlene Charles, his children, Greg Charles (Pam), Donald Charles (Marina) of Hall Lake, Betsy Charles, Helen Charles (Joe), Moses Charles, Stacey Henderson (Rory) and Florence Charles (Merv), the mother of his children, Alice Henderson, his grandchildren, Walter, Emily, Alice, Iris, Christine, Cora, Jerimiah, Stacey, Jean, Brent, Chantil, Shanon, Moe, Cory, Tyron, Alison, Trisha and Chrissy, his great-grandson, Zaden, his brothers and sisters, Gordon Henderson of Montreal Lake,     Ernest “Kochie” Henderson of Montreal Lake, Helen Henderson of Timber Bay, Fanny Henderson of St. Catherine’s, Ontario, and James Henderson (Valerie) of Prince Albert, SK, his special niece, Glenda Henderson, his special uncle, James Halkett, his godson, Christopher Charles, and his father-in-law, Thompson Halkett, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandchildren, Ashley Charles, Joseph Ross and Jonathan Bird, his parents, Hector and Angelique (nee Ballantyne) Henderson, his brothers, Albert, Henry, Thomas, Christopher and Peter (in infancy), his sister, Stella (in infancy), his special aunt, Elsie Halkett, and his mother-in-law,                   Polly Halkett, as well as numerous other relatives. A wake service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Kitsaki Hall in La Ronge, SK. Oliver’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2017 at All Saints Anglican Church in La Ronge, SK, Bishop Adam Halkett officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery in La Ronge, SK.
