Olive Gustafson
February 5, 1922 – October 5, 2012
Olive Gustafson passed away peacefully at the Victoria Hospital on October 5, 2012, 4 months short of her 91st birthday. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. Mom and Dad were married April 18, 1942, separated by Dad’s passing on November 29, 2003 and were re-united Friday evening. Olive was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Lillian Watts; her sisters Lil Cutts, Dorothy Pitzel and Eve Fredrickson and her brother Richard (Dick) Watts. She is survived by her daughter Paulette (Gary) Anderson of Emma Lake; her son Brian (Audrey) Gustafson of Saskatoon; her grandchildren Kim (Darren) Plummer of Prince Albert, Kerrie (David) Lesko of Emma Lake, Carla Gustafson of Calgary and Laura (Mason) Douglas of Saskatoon; her great grandchildren Jackson and Lacie Lesko, and Brayden Plummer; her sister Edna McLean of Saskatoon; her sister-in-law Lil Gustafson of Victoria; her God-Child Linda Burke of Saskatoon; numerous nieces and nephews and her faithful poodle Toby. Olive enjoyed a long life, her family, cottage, garage sales, knitting, baking, walking, travelling, music and anything her children or grandchildren were interested in. Safe in the arms of Jesus our beloved mother and grandmother, until we meet again. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
