March 12, 1998 – April 7, 2014
Northstar Keenatch, late of Saskatoon, SK passed away on April 7, 2014 in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 16 years. Northstar will be lovingly remembered by his father: Larry “Bones” Primeau (April) of Saskatoon, SK; his mother: June Keenatch of Saskatoon, SK; his siblings: Shamaya Primeau of Prince Albert, SK and Lorenda Assoon of Saskatoon; his uncles & aunts: Bradley, Gabriel, Gilbert, Debra Keenatch and Darwin Lachance, Kyle Peters, and Jeannine (Kris) Naytowhow; his maternal grandparents: Therese Keenatch; his paternal grandparents: Gladys (Elwood) Peters of Spruce Home, SK and Larry Sr. Primeau from Alberta; his paternal great-grandmother: Mary Primeau of Prince Albert, SK; his paternal great-grandfather: Sydney Naytowhow of Sturgeon Lake First Nation, SK; his maternal great-grandparents: Sophie Keenatch and Tom Rainey; his special friend: Chlarissa Martell; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Northstar was predeceased by his maternal grandparent: Norman Lachance; his uncles: Darren Lachance and Michael Keenatch; his brother: Shane Primeau; his mushums: Robert Naytowhow, and Floyd Naytowhow; and his great paternal grandmother: Nancy “Violet” Naytowhow. Wake Services will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 ~ 7:00 pm and Friday, April 11, 2014 ~ 7:00 pm with a Feast starting at 5:00 pm, Sturgeon Lake Community Centre. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 ~ 11:00 am; Sturgeon Lake Community Centre, with the interment to follow at West Central Cemetery, Sturgeon Lake First Nation, SK.
