Butterflies Nadine Francis Moan
July 18, 1952 – May 26, 2021
To know Nadine was to know she loved butterflies.
Did you know how important butterflies are to humanity? Although their work on earth is not as recognized as say the honeybee or worm, take a look and you will find the jobs they do are vast and critical to the world.
Nadine lived her life like a butterfly. She flittered in and out of people’s lives brining as much joy and beauty as she could.
Nadine spent countless hours just sitting and listening patiently, without judgement or trying to solve the problem rather just being witness so others could find their own way. The secrets she would come to know, she held as tightly as a butterfly…I swear on her wings she carried the secrets from their lips to God’s ear.
The energy she had for helping was endless. If she saw a need she would fly to fill it, lend a hand, cook a meal, give a ride, give a hug, take you in , pick you up….NEVER, EVER did she say I don’t have time. She would fly in do her part and fly off to the next.
On May 26, 2021 Nadine prepared her wings for the journey home. Having completed the spreading of her love, boundless service, beauty and kindness here on earth she leaves whispers, like the beating of butterfly wings, in the hearts of many….
In lieu of flowers, Nadine requested that donations be made to either of her two favourite charities – Operation Red Nose, National Office, 2539 rue Marie-Fitzbach, Maison Couillard, Universite Laval, QC G1V 0A6 or Jessy’s Garden, R. R.#1, Hwy 302E, Prince Albert, SK S6V 5P8.
A celebration of her life will be held on her birthday, July 18th. For details of the location and time please email sharileemoan@gmail.com
