Wendy McNabb
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wendy McNabb.
Wendy was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan on March 4, 1955. She passed away in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on October 16, 2021. Wendy was kind, loving and accepted everyone as family. She enjoyed cooking and decorating for holidays (especially Halloween). She lived for her children and grandchildren and would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. She was a true helper.
She is survived by her loving husband, Brian McNabb; her four children, 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren: Sherry (Brad) Bates, Shayleen McNabb, Sydney Bates, Courtney Bates, Ahri & Natayo McNabb, Norman (Candace) McNabb, Kayla, Kelsey, Dallas and Luxton McNabb, Brennon McNabb, Shanelle Harvey (Pierre), Heather Harvey, Bennett Leblanc, Greyson Leblanc, Cooper Leblanc, Timothy Franc, William Franc, Samantha (Chris) Williams, Cylie Williams, Dawson Williams, Kendell Williams, Aubree Belzevick, Ryleigh Belzevick, Matthew Thompson (Trista), Ellara Head, Jessie Thompson (Renee), Hunter & Lexy Thompson, her siblings, Keith Umpherville and Maureen (Melvin) Lafond, her best friend Laurale Cartier and the Marks 9 splurge girls; her borrowed children, Melanie (Edward) Merasty, Colleen Schopp, Ria Martens; as well as countless other cousins and friends.
Wendy is predeceased by her youngest son, John McNabb; her daughter, Elaine Rabbitskin; her parents, Wilfred Deschambeault and Jane Umpherville; her parents-in-law, Harold and Bessie McNabb; her siblings, Al Umpherville and Corrine Umpherville; her brothers-in-law, Gary McNabb and Gary Storey; and her sister-in-law, Violet McNabb.
A Celebration of Wendy’s Life will be held on October 21, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Plaza 88, located at 888 Central Avenue, Prince Albert. All those who knew and loved her are welcome to join us and pay tribute.
