Tracee Obrigavitch
May 18, 1968 ~ January 31, 2022
On January 31, 2022, Tracee Obrigavitch, at the age of 53, surrounded by her family and holding her children’s hands, passed away peacefully. She was born May 18, 1968, in Prince Albert, SK, to Cliff and Lena Gardiner and was raised in Prince Albert. The exception being a one-year relocation to Algeria in 1975. Tracee was the youngest of two daughters. She attended post-secondary and continued on to work as an athletic therapist in Calgary.
Tracee married the love of her life, Greg Obrigavitch, on September 11, 2001, and they enjoyed 21 years of marriage. They resided in Prince Albert and raised their family, Amy, Annika, and Max. Tracee was a stay-at-home mom and, to her, that was the best job in the world! She enjoyed travelling, particularly Hawaii or anywhere Disney; going for walks with Luke; attending live sporting events – especially football and dancing when they involved her children. Tracee was a great friend to everyone she met. If you were lucky enough to find yourself in her orbit, she drew you in by her wonderful smile, and you remained in her huge heart for life.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Greg; her daughters Amy and Annika; her son Max; her father Cliff Gardiner; her sister Dawna (Brian) Olson; her parents-in-law, Ron and Wendy Obrigavitch; and her “grandpuppy” Luke. Tracee was predeceased by her mother Lena Gardiner; her maternal grandparents Metro and Anna Olkanych; her paternal grandparents Pat (Raymond) and Edith Gardiner; her maternal grandparents-in-law Jack and Nita Haraldson; and her paternal grandparents-in-law Mike and Lucy Obrigavitch.
Tracee’s memory will continue to bring joy to all those who knew her.
Come and Go Celebration of Life in Tracee’s memory will be held between 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Plaza 88 – 888 Central Avenue, Prince Albert, SK.
