Shirley Lowe (1944 – 2024)
The world lost a very special woman on April 14th, 2024. I hope we can all find some consolation in knowing that Shirley is no longer suffering, and has finally found peace. In her final days she faced death with dignity, courage, and grace. Thank you so much for all the kind notes and memories you have all shared with our family. Hearing them gave her so much comfort and reminded her of how she left her mark on so many, and how she left this world a much better place because of her presence in it.
Our family truly believes angels exist on earth after bearing witness to the amazing level of compassionate care given by her medical care takers and the staff of the Rose Garden Hospice, who did everything possible to make sure Shirley was comfortable during her final moments and helped ease the burden on the family during this incredibly difficult time. We will never be able to thank them enough for their words of assurance, patience, and hugs which made all the difference. Shirley will leave a huge hole in the lives of all those who were blessed to have known her, and will be so very missed. As per her wishes, there will be a celebration of life for her this summer in which I hope you can all come out to raise a glass of wine to this amazing lady. In lieu of flowers, our family asks that donations please be made to the Rose Garden Hospice in Prince Albert, https://www.rosegardenhospice.ca/ , or mailed to: 500 38th Street West, Prince Albert, SK, S6W 0A3, or to a charity of your choice.
Shirley, you were so very loved.
