Sarah Sylvia Henderson

August 20, 1936 ~ March 5, 2022

It is with great sadness that the family of Sarah Sylvia Henderson announce her sudden passing on Saturday March 5, 2022 at Montreal Lake, SK.

Sylvia leaves to mourn her: two sons; Wayne R. Ross, John M.E. Bird. Grandchildren; Angela Ray, Alicia Bird, Naomi G.K. Bird;  nieces: Lorraine Henderson, Edadeen Bird, Oriole E.L. Bird, Marlene Bird Valerie (Jimmy)Ratt; nephews; Colin Bird: Gerald (Stephanie) Bird, Warren Bird, James Bird;  Sister’s in-law Emily A. Henderson and Dorothy G. Bird; numerous nieces, nephews, special grandchildren and her Godchildren. All her special friends, relations and the people who knew her.

 Sylvia is predeceased by her: one son in infancy; maternal grandparents Zebediah and Sophie Bird; paternal grandparents Benjamin (Polly) Bird; parents John and Flora Bird; Brothers Edward B. Bird and Gordon A. Bird; Sister Grace “Betsy” Anderson and two Brothers and one Sister in infancy; niece Rachel Bird; In-Laws; Jean(John Z.) Bird Lizzy(Edward) Morgan, Stanley (Yvonne) Henderson, Kenneth Hederson, Rosie Gloria Henry, Annie “Wahpun” Bird; Marvin Henderson, and numerous Aunts and Uncles.  

Wake Services were held at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday March 12, 2022 and Sunday March 13, 2022.  Funeral Service was held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2022. All Services were held at St. Joseph’s Anglican Church, Montreal Lake, SK.
