1949 – 2024
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Mary Marlene Watson of Rosthern, Saskatchewan. With family by her side, Marlene passed away on April 18 at the age of 75 after a battle with cancer. Marlene was the daughter to Clayton and Nellie Avison of Melfort, SK. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Marlene will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all that knew and loved her.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband John Neufeld and his family. Marlene’s children, son Kelly and his daughter Hunter. Daughter Linnea, husband Cameron Phillips and her four children Dallas (Kristen), Christina (Craig), Trenton (Allie) and Melanie (Joe) and great grandchildren, Imoosie, Liam, Eric, Lily, Kane, Letti and Celli. Her sisters Elaine (Otto) Krepps, Diane Avison, Debbie (Lorne) Soucy and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Marlene was predeceased by her parents Clayton and Nellie Avison, Dale Skiftun and John Watson.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Rosthern Hospital for the care they showed during her last days on this earth.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK.
A private family interment will be held at a later date.
