In Loving Memory
Evelyn Ingram Kirkland
May 11, 1943 – Oct. 11, 2023
Evelyn was born to grateful parents John and Vinetta Ewan, in Alameda, Sk. She grew up on the farm as an only child, later, moving north to Bjorkdale, Sk.
Upon graduating from high school and working for a time with the Bank of Nova Scotia in Tisdale, she married Dale Kirkland in 1965, ultimately moving to Prince Albert. She made life-long friends wherever she lived (Whispering Pines trailer court, taking pride of place).
Evelyn is remembered for her ferociously dry sense of humour (and accompanying laugh), love of cats, and dirt-biking with her family in the forest behind the house and many talks over coffee.
She is survived by her sons Devon (Amber) and Neil (Wendy), grandchildren: Ella and Aaron, and Anna and Ava. She is survived also by brother-in-law Gordon Kirkland and sister-in-law Joanne Kirkland.
She is predeceased by her husband, Dale Kirkland in 2020 and her parents John and Vinetta (nee Fallis) Ewan.
