Dorothy Elma Wouters

1940 – 2026

The family of Dorothy Elma Wouters are saddened to announce her passing on July 28, 2026, in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 86 years.  She was born June 11, 1940, in Edam, SK.

Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Larry; daughter, Louella (Peter) Szpakowski; four grandchildren, Kylie (Josh) Wouters, Claire (Regan) Wouters, Matthew (Jewels) Szpakowski and Lesya (Cody) L’Heureux; eight great grandchildren, Barrett and Brantley Tkaczyk, Hunter and Gracie Popil, Estelle and Kayce Szpakowski, and Eli and Wren L’Heureux; her sister, Linda (Mel) Woychyshyn; brother-in-law, Fred Huber; sisters-in-law, Marlene deGraaf and Elaine Wouters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was predeceased by her son, Kevin Wouters; her parents Henry and Dorothy deGraaf; her sisters Minnie (Willard) Halverson, June (Lennard) Heath, Marjorie (Joe) Wooff, Alida (Dale) Hunter and Shirley Huber; her brothers, Lee (Jean) deGraaf and Henry deGraaf; her mother and father-in-law, Jack and Dorothy Wouters; and her brother-in-law, Bill Wouters.

As per Dorothy’s request there will be no funeral service.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Father DJ and Sister Re’Anne and all the nurses and staff at Mont St. Joseph nursing home.   The care and compassion shown to Dorothy and her family is very much appreciated.
