September 13, 1942 – March 24, 2024
It is with great sadness that the family of Rodney Postle announces his passing on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at the age of 81 years.
Rod was born on September 13, 1942 in Saskatoon, SK to Les and Norma Postle. He grew up and attended school in Saskatoon.
Rod had a passion for the paint business and started his own business called “Rod’s Decorating Centre” in Prince Albert and received the “Samuel McLeod Business Award” for being in business for 30 years. He also had many hobbies such as skeet shooting, camping, fishing, travelling, and wood working. But the most important thing he loved to do was spend time with his family.
Rod will be sorely missed by his family, and his puppies (Maggie, Molly and Marco). He is predeceased by his parents, Les and Norma Postle; late wife, Marian (nee Dawson); and numerous brother and sisters in law.
Rod is survived by his wife Marcia (nee Grocholski); son, Rick (Judy) Postle; daughter, Lori (Bill) Mathers; stepsons, Jordan and Jonathan (Jocelyn) Grocholski; grandchildren, Steven (Jess), Nathan (Shelby), Nicole (Dakota), Riley (Cody), Shay, Cassie, Gabe, and Christopher; great-grandchildren, Isaac, Owen, and Lincoln.
A Celebration of Rod’s life will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Midtown Hall (540 9th St E, Prince Albert).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Diabetes Canada (diabetes.ca).
