Richard Graham
April 16, 1948 – October 13, 2021
It is with great sadness Rick’s family announces his sudden passing. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Marilyn; his daughters, Bonnie (Garth), Carmen and Manda; his grandchildren, Josh, Corey, Courtney, Brooke, and Tessa; his mother, Irene; his siblings, Cheryl (Bill), Rob (Debbie), Gary, and Donna (Tim); brother-in-law, Roy (Alice); many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. Dad was predeceased by his father, John; his nephew, Robbie; and his grandparents.
Dad was a devoted husband, proud father and grandfather, and loving son. He enjoyed many lasting friendships and will be remembered for his humor, fun-loving spirit and sportsmanship.
Dad spent most of his working career in the pulp and paper industry. After years of working at the mill in BC, Dad (along with family) returned to Prince Albert to help his father on the Red Deer Hill family farm. He went on to work at the Prince Albert Pulp Mill until he retired.
Dad was always a sports enthusiast. He played ball with the Parkland Builders Softball Team and was inducted into the Prince Albert Sports Hall of Fame in 2003. He was a distinguished curler and an avid golfer. Dad coached his daughters’ ball teams, volunteered at bonspiels and mentored young curlers. Over the last year Dad enjoyed riding his bike, fishing and spending quality time with his friends and family.
Our family would like to express our gratitude to the incredible Palliative Home Care Team in Prince Albert and our parent’s kind-hearted neighbors.
A private celebration of Dad’s life will be planned for a later date. In lieu of other tributes, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 26 – 1738 Quebec Avenue, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, (306) 922-4729.
