Raymond McCallum

1949 – 2025

We are heartbroken to announce that after a long and courageous battle with cancer Raymond McCallum has returned home with the creator.

Ray leaves to mourn his darling Judy, who was the light of his life for 34 years. He was a proud father/ grandfather to Carrie Bellerose, Hailea Bellerose, Cory Brassard (Hannah Tremblay), Chelsea Bellerose, and Great Grandfather to Brynnley Ray Brassard. He was also a very proud brother to Larry Sanders, Lorraine Ates (Johnny Ates), and Ben Hamm (Marilyn Hamm). He leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, family, friends, and colleagues to which he loved with his entire heart. He will be met by many predeceased loved ones on the other side.

Ray wore many hats in the community, whether it was with church, AA, golf, homeward bound. He took great pride in showing love and helping others. He grew up without a lot of love in his life, so he made sure that he went out with an abundance. He has impacted an incredible number of lives during his time here on earth and we ask that you live your life with empathy, kindness and understanding as he did. We will miss his constant smile, corny jokes, and steady presence. We love you “Gramps”, our lives are better because you walked alongside us.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1796 15th Ave East, Prince Albert, SK.  The service will be live-streamed and a link will be provided here as soon as it is available.
