Hernando Alberto Sagardia

November 15, 1972 ~ March 5, 2022

It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, father, and friend Hernando “Nano” Alberto Sagardia.  He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on March 5th, 2022, at the age of 49.

Nano was born on November 15th, 1972 in Santiago, Chile, and moved to Canada with his family in 1980. He is survived by his: son Zachary and his son’s mother Corrinne; parents Alberto and Rosa; loving sisters: Nancy (Nathan, Jonah), Rachel (Reina) and Diana (Rowan, Kaitlyn, Caleb, Jayda); brother-in-law Alan; Ronald Uribe (Oreo), who was more like a brother than a cousin; numerous cousins and relatives in Chile and Canada; countless friends whom all held a special place in his heart; and his loving dog “Baby”.

Nano was always full of love and adventure. His legendary hugs were sought by all, and the warmth of his heart always brought people together. He was fearless in meeting and introducing people and was the catalyst for many long-lasting, cherished relationships. He will be missed dearly.

There will be a Celebration of Life held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Plaza 88,  888 Central Avenue, Prince Albert, SK with parking in the back.

In lieu of other tributes, donations can be made to the SPCA, 1125 N. Industrial Drive, Prince Albert, SK S6V 5T1 or Canadian Cancer Society, 200 – 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, AB T2E 2P5 or charity of one’s choice.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, (306) 922-4729.
