George Edwin Finch

March 27, 1957 ~ February 11, 2021

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of George Edwin Finch on February 11, 2021 at age 63 in Prince Albert. George was born March 27, 1957 in New Westminster, BC to Evelyn and Norman Finch. George grew up in Prince Albert. He enjoyed doing crosswords, collecting coins, and driving his cab. George was known for his infectious smile and cheerful nature.

George is survived by his 2 children, Alicia (Kevin) Finch and Michael (Kelsey) Finch, his 2 grandchildren Remy and River Finch, his siblings Sheila (Steven) Ryder, Norma Farenick, and Jeff (Brenda) Finch, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Evelyn and Norman Finch, and brother-in-law Russ Farenick.

George will be greatly missed by his family and friends. With the current COVID restrictions in place, a private celebration of George’s life will be held at Gray’s Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in memory of George to Crisis Services Canada.
