Emil will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by Rose, his wife of 65 years; his daughter Cindy (Bill) and their children Michelle (Derek) and Michael (Kelsey); son Curtis (Brenda) and their children Brandon (Hannah), Shauna (Carter) and Lindsay. His Great-Grandchildren Dylan, Teagyn, Bria, Ashton, Liam and Kynzleigh.

Emil was predeceased by Gladys and Andrew Juravinski (parents); Robert Juravinski (brother); Anne Chysyk (sister); Brendon Bliss (grandson in-law) and many other loving family members.
Emil completed grade 6 leaving school to help on the family farm. Emil and Rose met through a mutual friend. They were married June 18, 1955 at the Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church in Prince Albert, Emil was 25 and Rose was 22 years old. Emil and Rose tried farming on their own for a short period of time and decided that it was not for them. Emil took great pride in working at the Victoria Hospital for 38 years as an x-ray porter. After his retirement, he enjoyed bowling, curling, horse-shoes, model aviation and many family gatherings like Monday night suppers.
Papa took great pride in his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and in their activities including baseball, bowling, figure skating, hockey, piano concerts, and swimming. An avid sports fan, Papa was keenly interested in his PA Raiders and followed them with a passion happy when they clinched the 2019 WHL Championship. Papa also made sure you knew when his Blue Jays played and won.
At this time Rose and Family would like to Thank All of the Doctors and the Nurses from St Paul’s Hospital who took such special care of Emil.
