Dennis “Keith” Coombs
1945 – 2025
It is with sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Dennis Keith Coombs, known as Keith, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend on November 9, 2025. Keith was born to Anna and Walter Ernest (Jack) Coombs in Prince Albert, SK on April 4, 1945 and passed away peacefully after a very brave battle with cancer.
On August 10, 1968 Keith was united in marriage to Linda Loeppky and they lived happily together 57 years. He loved his children Shannon (Robert) and Robert (Tsinda), and grandchildren Keisha (Brandon), Cole, Broden, Parker, and Emilie.
Keith was predeceased by his parents W.E. (Jack) & Anna Coombs, brother Garry, grandson Keilor, his mother and father in-law John and Marie Loeppky, sister-in- law Jane Brown, and many aunts and uncles.
Keith’s family moved to Saskatoon in his high school years. Keith spent most of his professional career in sales starting with Vacuum cleaners and Western Producer subscriptions but moved on to Real Estate in Saskatoon. In 1978, they moved to Prince Albert where he ran his own Real Estate business in both residential and commercial properties. Keith also worked under contract and with Metis organizations and gaming. He eventually moved on to working with the Provincial Government in Property Management until he retired in 2012. Keith was also involved with the Knights of Columbus and assisted in many of their projects.
Keith and his wife enjoyed traveling to Arizona in their motor home for almost 10 years and to Caribbean destinations. Keith loved working with anything with a motor. He started working with computers early in his business career and continued until the end, happily forwarding silly even inappropriate messages to his friends daily.
He enjoyed motorhome trips with Linda, cherished every moment he spent with his grandchildren, daily car rides with his brother Ron, trips to the lake, driving his boat, working on his vehicles and puttering in the garage, which was full of every tool imaginable. He was always willing to lend a helping hand.
His family and many friends will dearly miss him.
A Celebration of Keith’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK.
The family would like to thank all the wonderful doctors and caregivers that helped Keith in a most difficult time. A special thank you to Dr. Bairagi and Dr. Iqball and to the Saskatoon Cancer Clinic.
