Mr Bruce Carriere

Bruce Lee Carriere of Victoria, BC, passed away peacefully on July 26th, 2024, with his partner “Sunni” by his side. He was 64 years old.
Bruce was born and raised in Prince Albert, SK on August 1st, 1959 to David and Delilah Carriere. He was the 11th child born to a family of 16.
He leaves to mourn his loving companion, Norman (Sunni) Tesluk of 12 years in Victoria, BC.
His surviving siblings Norman and (Jean) Madland of Flin Flon Manitoba, Myrna McKay of Prince Albert, SK, Victor and (Brenda) Carriere of Saskatoon, SK, Phyllis and (Rod) Durocher, Frank and (Janet) Carriere, Sharon and (Ron) Isbister of Prince Albert, SK, Annette and (George) Sutherland of Beardys and Okemasis Reserve, SK, Terry Carriere, Grant Carriere, Lisa and (Rick) McDermott of Prince Albert, SK.
His sister in law, Carol Pilon.
His three exceptional friends, Robyn Patton of Den Haag, Netherland, Kathy Vandermeulen, and Maria Borbely of Victoria, BC.
His Special Niece, Angela McKay. As well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, David and Delilah Carriere, his paternal grandparents, Demas and Sarah Carriere, and his maternal grandparents, Peter and Nancy Umpherville. Sisters, Darlene Carriere, Shirley Dubois, and Rhonda Carriere. His brothers, Vernon and David Carriere. His brothers-in-law, John Dubois and Ben McKay. His sisters-in-law, Bonnie Carriere, and Irene Carriere.
Wake Service with the singing of hymns and sharing of stories will be held on Saturday, August 10th, 2024 at Myrna McKay’s house. Please ask one of the family members for the address if you are wanting to attend.
Celebration of Bruce’s Life will be held on Sunday, August 11th, 2024 at 11 am at Glen Mary Church in Glen Mary, SK. His wishes were to have his ashes scattered over the graves of his parents, his sisters, and his brothers, as well as at the old homestead of our grandparents, Peter and Nancy Umpherville. Lunch will follow the graveside gathering.
