Monica Lee Burns late of Prince Albert, SK passed away on January 17, 2015 in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 28.  Monica was born in Prince Albert, SK on September 5, 1986.   Monica will be lovingly remembered by her daughter: Dannataya “Taya” Burns; her father: Perry (Kavia) Burns; her step-father: Wayne Fischer; her twin sister: Michelle Burns (Leonard Lariviere); her sisters: Candace Ballantyne (Albert Ermine), Sara Carriere-Burns (Lyle Daniels), Katie Burns, Jasmine Burns; her brothers: Craig Sinclair, Pernell Ballantyne (Dionne Doucette), Steven Burns (Jenica Felix), Christopher Burns (Chasity Ermine), Justin Ballantyne (Gwendol Charles), Denzel Burns; her grandfather: Ruben Burns; her special uncle and aunt: George and Rita Sanderson; numerous nieces and nephews.  Monica was predeceased by: her mother: Debra Ballantyne; her grandparents: Muriel Burns and Austin and Wynona Ballantyne; her uncles: Martin Ballantyne, Dale Burns and Mike Burns; her special cousin: George Sanderson.  A Wake will be commencing on January 21, 2015 at the Sturgeon Lake Community Centre, Sturgeon Lake, SK.  Funeral Service will take place on January 23, 2015 at 11:00 am at the same location with Rev.
