Milton McKay
1955 – 2025

With sadness, the family of Milton Mervin McKay announces his passing on June 18, 2025.

Milton is survived by his pride and joy- his daughter Leigh-anne Bear; his brothers Hilton (Faye) McKay, Elton McKay, and Richard McKay; his sisters Linda (Roger) Holmevik, Blanche (Danny) Nickel, Shirley (Fred) Bird, Lorna McKay (Wayne Remi), Patty Ford, nee McKay (Mark Miller), and Carol (Les) Linton; many nieces and nephews; and his many special friends: work colleagues, golf buddies, childhood friends, and extended family members. Milton was predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Agnes (nee Ledoux) McKay; his paternal grandparents Roderick and Dora (nee Bear); his maternal grandparents Isadore and Philomene Ledoux; and his nephews Mark and Joey Seesequasis, and Adam McKay.

The Wake & Viewing will take place the evening of Monday, June 23, 2025, with the Prayer Service officiated by Rev. Ted Williams, commencing at 7:00 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. Both services will be held at the Muskoday Band Hall, Muskoday, SK.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Diamond House and the Royal University Hospital staff who took good care of him during his final months.
