Mildred Lightheart
1927 ~ 2024

Mildred Lightheart passed peacefully on November 17, 2024, at the age of 97 years, in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, at the Rose Garden Hospice.

Mildred was predeceased by her husband, George Lightheart; her daughter, Kathryn Lightheart; her brother, John Tye; her brother, Thomas Downes; her sister-in-law, Marion Downes; her grandson, Troy Lightheart; and her nephew, Thomas John Downes. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Lightheart of Ridgeway, ON, and her family; her son, Glenn Lightheart, his wife, Lenni Rae, of Calgary, AB, and their family; her sons, Douglas Lightheart of Hamilton, ON, and Patrick Lightheart of Toronto, ON. Mildred is also survived by 8 grandchildren, her great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In keeping with the wishes of Mildred, there will be no funeral services, and her remains will join her husband George in South Hill Cemetery, in Prince Albert, SK.

The family wishes to express our heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Rose Garden Hospice for the wonderful and compassionate care provided to Mildred in her final days.
