She is survived by her 5 children Linda (Dennis) Cox of Idaho, Peggy (Dale) Gordon of Yukon, Patty (Danny) Fingarson of California, Bryan (Maria) Bragg of Georgia/Kuwait and Tammy (Dave) McGinnis of Oregon; 16 grandchildren Tina (Rob) Colson, Chris (Patti) Boeck, Carin (Matt) Boeck-Smith, Cyle (Jessica) Boeck, Shane (Monica) Gordon, Jonathon Gordon, Daniel, Bryan & Stephen Box, Chris, Thomas & P.J. Bragg, Mariah & Michaela McGinnis, Nathan & Tabitha Copley; and 16 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Elmer Neil Bragg; her parents Daniel and Marion Cameron; her grandson Joseph Neil Bragg; two sons-in-law Brent Cox and Dan Box; and her three sisters Beatrice Burkholder, Frances Pleger and Rose Jean Cameron. Millie was born in Michigan where she grew up on a small farm, graduated high school and trained to become a teacher. She taught in one room rural schools for several years before marrying the young man who sat next to her during senior classes! Her five children were all born in Michigan prior to the family moving to Canada in 1966 where she and Elmer studied at Briercrest Bible Institute. She graduated in 1971 and served alongside her husband in Christian ministry. After several years as a pastor’s wife she returned to teaching and helping out in various Christian schools as she followed Dad around on his missionary building projects. Mom enjoyed watching and feeding the birds. For many years she had big gardens and did a lot of canning and preserving. She loved to sew and all her children and grandchildren received many gifts of homemade clothing. In her younger years she enjoyed planning parties and dinners. We always had lots of company in the house. In her older years she loved getting and reading mail. She didn’t throw anything away! She loved God, her church, her family and her little dog Sparky. We will all miss her very much. Public Visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK.
