Todd was born in Prince Albert, SK on October 8, 1964, and passed away on December 16, 2025, at the age of 61.  He was the youngest child of 4 to Mike and Edith Pocha.

Todd graduated from Carlton High School in 1982.  In his youth, Todd and brother Melvin had the time of their lives working at Danby’s.  From there, Todd went into construction, working at Thorpes, and the job that gave him the most satisfaction was at Kor Alta, until his injury.  Todd was a hard worker with an old school work ethic.  He was a gentle giant known for his warm hugs and infectious laugh.  He was the pillar of the family, family always came first.  He was the go-to person for the kids.  He loved spending time at Beardy’s with his Gamble family.  Todd enjoyed camping trips with his boys and a highlight was a trip to the mountains with Ryan.  Family card games will never be the same.

If you knew Todd, you knew mom was everything to him. Daily at 10:30 a.m. Todd would call his mama to see how she was doing.  Their Sunday outings, were to drive to church and then go out for breakfast.  He loved dancing, a good wiener roast and watching old westerns.  He reminisced fondly about Bullet his horse from his youth.  He looked forward to the daily coffee at Timmies, with best friend Ron and buddy Shawn.  As per his best friend, “He was one of the few people that what you saw, is what you got.  He didn’t give you anything but who he was.”

Todd is survived by his loving family; Mama, Edith Pocha; sisters, Lori Tourond (Ken Giesbrecht), Delores Pocha; nephews and nieces, Ryan (Holly) Tourond, Kristopher Pocha, Travis Tourond, Shelby Pocha, Jade Goodwill (Caleb Fosseneuve), Ruby Tourond; great nieces and nephews, Ryan Tourond Jr. (Godchild), Michael Tourond, Lilly Merasty, Agenor Bignose-Tourond, Xadius Bignose-Tourond (Godchild), Octavia Bignose, Heaven Sawatsky, Savanna Tourond, Terry (Kirsten Kleiboer) Tourond, Danielle Tourond; “brother”, Melvin Gamble, Coady Gamble (Godchild); best friend, Ron Mckay.

Todd was predeceased by his dad, Mike Pocha; sister, Shelley Pocha; brother-in-law, Terry Tourond; nephew, Rodney Tourond; grandparents, Ernestine Cox, Phillip and Bertha Pocha; his “Chum” Merina Drabot.

A Celebration of Todd’s Life will be announced at a later date.
