Michael Gignac, late of Albertville, SK, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2019, at the age of 51 years.  Michael fought a strong and courageous battle with cancer.  He truly appreciated all of the support, assistance and visits provided by many friends and family in the last few years.  Michael was predeceased by his nephew: Ryan Robertson.  He is survived by his parents: Ubald and Flore; all of his 7 siblings along with their spouses; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  Visitation for Michael will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2019.  Funeral Mass will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2019 with Father Jim Kaptein and Father DJ Vu as Celebrants.  Both services will be held at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Albertville, SK.  Interment will follow in Albertville Cemetery.  Donations in memory of Michael may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 54  11^th Street East, Prince Albert, SK.   Family and friends wishing to send online condolences are welcome to visit www.beaulacfuneralhome.com.    Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Beau “Lac” Funeral Home, Tracy-Lynn Lenchuk, Funeral Director, Prince Albert, SK 306-763-3322.
