Michael Larry Glen Ballantyne, age 65 years, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 in Flin Flon, MB.  Michael was born Sunday, October 30, 1949, in Lac La Ronge, SK.  A Memorial  Service was held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 1 at River Park  Memorial Chapel, Prince Albert , SK.  Wake Services were held Tuesday, September 1 at the home of Eliza Ballantyne, and on Wednesday, September 2 at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Deschambault Lake, SK.  His Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 3 from St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Deschambault Lake.  Officiant will be Reverend Rachel Custer.  Michael is survived by his loving family: his wife of 45 years Eliza Ballantyne; his mother-in-law Sally Ballantyne; his daughters Lorna E., Viola B., Julie B., Naomi B., Danielle (Ronald), Rhoda B., Tara B.; his stepdaughters Cynthia C., Evangeline, Thara; his sons Isaac Archie, Vance B., Javier B.,; his brothers Mathew B., Johnny B.; his sisters Mary F. Roberts, Bella B.; his sisters-in-law Alice S., Doreen N., Virginia B., Suzzette Jobb; his brothers-in-law Adam Hardlotte, Murdock Charles, Jonas Ballantyne; his grandchildren Lorna B., Gabe E., Melinda E., Elsie E., Alesia E., Archie E., Henry E. Jr, Taralyn C., Francine B., Daniel C., Isaac C., Cynthia  C., Evangeline B., Farron B., Thara B., Mikey B., Channon C., Kristie B., Avril B., Cailyn B., Autumn B., Ocean B., Theodore B., Mason B., Wendy B., Michael B., Jareth B.; his 10 great-grandchildren; his godchildren Gordon B., Darrell Sewap; numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by: his son Michael Mathew John Ballantyne; his parents Jonas and Naomi Ballantyne; his father-in-law Isaac Ballantyne; his grandchildren twins Michael James and Hart Nowell Custer,  Paris Custer, Avrin Ballantyne; his sons-in-law Henry Eninew Sr., Christopher G. Custer; his siblings Rhoda Hardlotte, Angelique Casperson, Betsy Charles, Daniel Ballantyne, Flora Ballantyne, Margaret Ballantyne; his sister-in-law Bernice McCallum; his brothers-in-law Frank McCallum, Melvin Jobb; his friends Henry Ballantyne, Jack Custer, Peter Sewap.  Interment took place in Deschambault Lake Cemetery.  Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of RIVER PARK MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Prince Albert, 306 764-2727, Paula Hanson, Funeral Director.
