Our youngest Micah Thane Helm went to be with the Lord on Tuesday November 3, 2015. He was born January 11th, 1996 in Prince Albert, Sask. to Dale and Ruth Helm.

He will be fondly remembered by his parents and family; his three brothers, Seth (Amber) Helm and their children Alysha, Noah and Eden; Jesse (Rebekah) Helm and their children Annikah and Titus; Jeremy (Nadia) Helm, and his grandparents Wilbert and Lyla Helm and grandmother Florence Lefler, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandfather Clarence Lefler and his first cousins Adam Clark and Jesse Siller.

Micah attended Kinistino Public School from Kindergarten until grade 3, and then was home schooled until he graduated in 2014. He lived on the family farm and enjoyed working with his dad and brother and operating heavy equipment. Micah was an avid skateboarder, snowboarder and BMX rider and could often be found hitting jumps and perfecting different tricks. His other interests also included hiking, dirt-biking, RC cars, playing the ukulele and the flute. Micah enjoyed spending time with his family, he especially loved playing with his nieces and nephews. He would spend hours with his friends and did multiple activities and trips with the Weldon Christian Tabernacle Youth Group.

Micah was quiet, easygoing and was a friend to everybody. He was a man of a few words, but would once in a while surprise you with a random spontaneous remark that would leave a smile on your face. The most important thing in Micah’s life was serving the Lord Jesus. He was a Godly example to his family, friends and everybody he came in contact with. We rejoice knowing we will see Micah again and spend an eternity together.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 10, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. from the Weldon Christian Tabernacle with Pastor Paul Derksen officiating.  Interment will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday November 10, 2015. at the Kinistino Cemetery.
