Maurice Joseph Clouthier

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maurice Joseph Clouthier late of Marcelin. On August 23, 2024, the angels came to take Maurice home.
Maurice was born July 26, 1933, to Anatalie (Sanche) and Wilfrid Clouthier on the family farm in the Windsor Lake district. He was one of 13 children.
Maurice learned the value of family and hard work at a young age. He married Teresa (Bauer) on May 9, 1955, and were blessed with 8 children. Maurice and Teresa moved to BC where Maurice worked in a pulp mill along with his brothers. He later moved back home and started buying grain. He was an agent for 32 years. After retiring he continued to work for farmers in the area.
He will always be remembered for his love for his family, hunting, fishing, tinkering with motors, his sense of humor and personality.
Maurice is lovingly remembered by his wife of 69 years Teresa. His children Gabe (Sylvia) and family Jodie (Arlee), Jamie (Josh), and Crystal. Linda (Shane) Lalonde and family Jade (Craig) and Ryan (Carrie). Lyle (Anne) and family Dena (Joel) and Mitchell. Glen (Shari) and family Kristina (Jeremy), Ashley (Robin), and Shawn (Shelley)(Alex). Randy (Karen) and family Chelsea (Ryan), Hayley (Justin), and Logan. Darrel and family Jessica, Stephanie and Miranda. Wade (Judy) and family Dylan (Kara), Dalton (Alanna), Morgan and Lauren. Russel Neurauter and family Fallon and Brittany (Marshall). 22 great grandchildren and 4 great great Grandchildren. His brother Raymond (Julie). Numerous relatives, his nieces, nephews and those who loved Maurice and shared in his life.
He was predeceased by his parents Wilfrid and Anatalie. His daughter Sandra Neurauter. His siblings Joe (Lauretta), Gabe, Leo (Marie), Jerry, Edward, George, Andy, Jeanne (Raymond), Cecile (Norm), Stella and Terry (Bob). His great grandchildren Emmett and Garnett. His In Laws Catherine, Charles, Edward, Joseph, Marcel and Ronald.
Maurice’s memorial service will be held on August 31, 2024, at 10:30am at St. Joseph’s Parish in Marcelin.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Wheatland Lodge in Leask.
