Herron, Matilda (Tillie) passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2012 in the Victoria Hospital, at the age of 89 years. Tillie will be remembered by her sons: Zane of Prince Albert, Robert (and Joyce) of Kelowna, BC, and her daughter Gwen (and Barry) of Lethbridge, AB, and four grandchildren and six great grandchildren, and her siblings: Bill from Medicine Hat, AB, Esther from Medicine Hat, AB, and Toby from Prince Albert, SK . Tillie was predeceased by her partners, most recently Max, and prior to that her husbands’ Charles Herron and Jake Doerksen, and her siblings Mary and Albert. Tillie enjoyed the last 14 months in the Nelson Care Home surrounded by the friends she made there. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2012 – 11:00 am at MacKenzie Chapel, Prince Albert, with Rev. Rick Martin officiating.
