It is with great sadness that the family is announcing the sudden passing of Mason Alexander Hardman “King” on December 27, 2016.
Mason was born in Calgary AB on December 9, 1997 to Tammy and Clint Hardman. He began kindergarten in Calgary at Albert Park Elementary. In 2003, Mason moved back to Saskatchewan with his Mom and siblings, where he attended both Wynyard and Quill Lake elementary schools. When February 2009 rolled around, Mason decided to move back to Calgary to live with his Dad. While living in Calgary, he attended several different schools, graduating from Discovering Choices in June of 2015. After graduating, Mason worked for YYC Junk. He was very proud of the work that they did there even winning a Community Impact Award. In the fall of 2015 Mason moved to Prince Albert, SK to work on his plans for his future and to be closer to his brother and sisters. Mason was a very well accomplished young man. This past August he travelled to Toronto, along with his family to compete in the Top Model Search Canada. There he achieved Top 5 in 2 categories: Best Male Cover Model and Best Male Commercial Model. Also in August 2016, Mason registered at Carlton Comprehensive High, to up-grade his classes so he would be able to get accepted into a Commerce program. While going to school, Mason worked at both Foot Locker and The Source. Mason was very involved with his family, Mom – Tammy, Step-Dad – Peder, and siblings – Madison, Maverick and his little sister, Isabella, whom he adored, any one on Snap chat can attest to that! He was loved by all that knew him. He was a boy that could connect with everyone and anyone. Some of Mason’s interests include rapping and writing of his own lyrics, with the hopes of recording and producing his own album one day. He also enjoyed collecting old money, coins, crystals and gems. He always had a spiritual side to him, enjoyed all types of religion and would never chose one over another.
Mason will be greatly missed by his family, extended family, friends and all who knew him.
In honour and memory of Mason Alexander Hardman “King”, there is a Legacy Fund set up in his name. The family is asking that instead of gifts and flowers, please consider a donation to this fund.
