Mom’s family moved to Prince Albert in 1949. In 1956 Mary married Steve Radchuk and in 1957 their son Peter was born. In 1961 they welcomed their daughter Mary Ann. Mary worked at Glass Dairy and later at the Rainbow Café were she met the love of her life. They lived on the family farm at Samburg where they grain farmed, raised cattle and other livestock. Mom always grew a beautiful, bountiful garden. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and making the odd quilt, she enjoyed visiting the neighbors, playing cards and listening to the Old Time Dance Party every Saturday night. She had a very strong faith in her religion. She loved going to the Ukrainian Festival in Dauphin Manitoba with her children for 22 years. Mom loved making perogies and cabbage rolls and when company came over she made sure nobody left hungry.
