It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary (Minny) Olsen on Tuesday, April 18 2023 with family by her side, at the age of 88 years at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina, SK. Mary was predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years, Erling Olsen who passed away in January of 2023. Mary leaves to cherish her memory her children Cindy (Terry) Pettit, Wade (Vel) Olsen, Mike (Cathy) Olsen, Eric (Brenda) Olsen and Alison (Rodger) Watson; as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and friends; sister Addline; brother Joe and sister in-law Jean. Mary enjoyed travelling, twice to Norway to visit family, and five times to Hawaii (she made sure everyone knew it was five times). Mary, along with Erling loved taking trips down south of the border and loved shopping. Mom especially loved family gatherings. Anytime she could get to entertain she loved doing it. Mary was loved by all who knew her. Mary was voted Miss Congeniality for volunteering with the P.A. lions ladies group for being friendly outgoing and always helping those in need. A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
