Mary Jane Merasty, age 40, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2014 in Pelican Narrows, SK. Her Wake Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 21 at River Park Memorial Chapel, Prince Albert with Officiant Father Travis Myrheim; on Tuesday, October 21 at the home of Robin Merasty, Pelican Narrows; and Wednesday, October 22 at Wapanacak School, Pelican Narrows.
Her Funeral Mass was held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 23 at Wapanacak School with Celebrants Father Susai Jesu, OMI and Canon Angus Sewap. Mary Jane is survived by her loving family: her husband of 17 years Robin Merasty; her children Alyssa (George), Keagan, Kanyssa, Shanyssa, Janey, Robyn Girl; her special grandson Georgie Angus Luke Linklater; her mother Theresa Morin; her brothers Roderick Morin (Cindy), Ricky Morin (Martha), Douglas Morin (Sonya); her sister Karen Michel; her special nephews Ronald Morin, Ryan Morin; her special nieces Samantha Linklater, Trishia Morin, Deanne Sewap, Bella Morin; her brothers-in-law Melvin Merasty, Ted Merasty, Stan Merasty (Jeroline); her sisters-in-law Stella Merasty (Jonah), Carol Merasty, Alvina Merasty, Angie Merasty, Vivian Merasty, Geraldine Merasty, Cara-Faye Merasty; her aunties and uncles Thomas Morin, Jacob Morin (Hilda), Marjorie Jobb (Daniel), Otto Morin (Sylvia), Josephine Bird, Joan McKenzie (Glen), Hector Morin (Frances), Lorraine Clarke (James), Vera Sayese (Dennis), Pauline Clarke (Dickie), Nancy Custer, Roderick Ratt, Horace Ratt (Mildred), Larry Ratt (Margie), Margaret Sewap (Adam); numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; her special friends Maxine Morin, Bonnie Morin, Myrtle Roberts, Crystal Sewap, Tanya McCallum, Judy Michel, Arlene Robillard, Esther Bloomfield.
