Mary Ballantyne was born on Wednesday, March 20, 1940, in Reindeer River, SK, and passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021, in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 81 years.

Mary will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her family, her loving husband of 65 years, George Modest Ballantyne; her children, Kennath (Patsy) Ballantyne, Frances (Maurice) Richards, Ernest (Angela) Ballantyne, Archie Ballantyne, Ronald Ballantyne, Cindy Ballantyne, Glen Ballantyne; her daughter-in-law, Charlene Ballantyne; her adopted sons, James Ballantyne, Jason Michel, Thomas Walooch; her brothers, William Ballantyne, James (Lorraine) Clarke, Leonard (Helen) Clarke, Daniel Clarke; her sisters, Norma (Mike) Nielsen, Alice (Gary) Clarke, Caroline (Robert) McKenzie; her grandchildren, Elvis, Mavis, Conrad Jr., Conrad C., Trina, Tricia, Trudy, Tricsilla, Troy, Tristan, Erin, Eric, Donald, Bretson, Bryton, Karie, Blake, Dylan, Dakota, Cole, Reganne, Colton, Megan, Mary, Marlee, Madison, Ashely, Kianna, Craig, Nigel, Burton, Glenn Jr., Aston, Brianna, Ellie, Newton, Ethan, Bria, Brianne; 80 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Hilda Highway.

She was predeceased by her children, Conrad Ballantyne, Donald Ballantyne; her grandchildren, Alysia, Arlene, Darnell, Andrew, Payton; her mother, Emily Ballantyne; her step-dad, Charlie Ballantyne; her father, Alexander S. Clarke; her sisters, Linda Ballantyne, Annie Ballantyne; her sisters-in-law, Frances Clarke, Jean Ballantyne; her brother-in-law, Philip Ballantyne.

Private Wake and Funeral Services will be held for Mary, with interment to follow at Moise Bear Memorial Gardens, in Pelican Narrows, SK.
