MARY ANN HADDEN

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mary Ann Hadden on Monday, December 22, 2014.  Mary Ann was born on the farm at Tway to George and Florence Devenis on April 1, 1942.  She grew up and went to school in Waitville.  Mary Ann married Donald Hadden on December 1, 1962, celebrating 52 years of marriage.  For 52 years they raised their family and watched it grow through their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren sharing joy, sorrow, love and laughter.  Mary Ann shared a great joy with her great-grandchildren who provided her with laughter.  She was passionate about her flowers, gardening and birds.  She had a special love for all animals often feeding strays who arrived at her doorstep and especially the birds in the wintertime.  Mary Ann will be missed dearly by her loving husband Donald Hadden; her children Simone (Donald Rennie), Christine Hadden (Rob Balicki) and Curtis Hadden; her grandchildren  Robin (Colin Frazer), Brandy Perry (Derek Serfas), Andy Winder and Zyenna-Rain Hadden;  her great-grandchildren Jayde, Zoey, Drake, Cohen and Claire.  She was predeceased by her parents George and Florence Devenis; her brother Alex Devenis; her mother-in-law Louise Hadden as well as numerous family and friends.  At Mary Ann’s request she was cremated and a memorial service will be announced and held at a later date.  Anyone wishing to make a donation in Mary Ann’s memory may do so to the Canadian Canadian Society.  Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Donald M. Moriarty, Funeral Director
