BISSON, Mary Ann Suzanne Mildred

October 22, 1947 – July 24, 2020

It is with deep sadness and aching hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Mary Ann Bisson at the age of 72. She passed away on July 24, 2020 at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon of lung cancer.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Linda Leedahl (Tom); son Steve Bisson (Maureen); grandchildren Alicia (Bert) White, Natascha (James) Chapman, Kaylla Leedahl, Brian Veltkamp (Sean); great grandchildren Bensen and Wendel White and Wyatt and Zachary Chapman; as well as her son-in-law Alex Veltkamp (Deb); sister-in- law Su Coulombe; estranged daughter Bonnie Veltkamp; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband Don; parents, Geoffrey and Alice Coulombe; brothers Bob, Peter, Jeffrey, Michael, Mark; sisters Denise and Patricia; and daughter-in-law Jennifer Milne Bisson.

Mary Ann was born in Ottawa on October 22, 1947. She met Don, the love of her life, and they were married in 1966. They moved to Saskatoon in 1978 and later settled in Prince Albert where they retired. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at the Palliative Care Unit at St. Paul’s Hospital who cared for Mary Ann over the past several weeks.

At Mary Ann’s request, a private graveside service will be held.
