In loving memory of Marvin Sachkowski. Marvin, age 82, passed away at the Herb Basset Home in Prince Albert, early Friday morning, May 15, 2015. Marvin was born on July 9, 1932 to John and Ann in Foxford, SK, the eldest of six children. Marvin married his loving wife, Lesia on October 1, 1960. Together, they raised a family of three children in Meath Park, SK. Marvin worked for the Department of Highways for over 25 years. Along with work, he loved being outdoors, helping with farming and going fishing. Marvin was a loving and caring husband and father, and adored by his grandchildren. Marvin was predeceased by his mom and dad, Ann and John Sachkowski; his brother Melvin; his father-and-mother in-law William and Amelia Sklar; and his sister in-law Amelia Will. He is survived by his wife Lesia; his children Marlon (Michele), Daryl (Michele), and Michele (Earl); his six grandchildren Caitlyn, Devyn, Darren, Keely, Tristyn, and Jordyn; his siblings Lillian (Marvin), Doris, Marge (Lorne), and Dwight (Bonnie); his sister in-law Helene; his brothers in-law Frank and Gordon (Geraldine); numerous nephews and nieces. A graveside service will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 20.  In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
