Martin is survived by his loving family, his wife Celina Michel, his children Tischa Ballantyne, Mitchelle Ballantyne, Bryson Michel, Sevastian Michel, Tavaytin Michel and Solomon Michel, his step-children Chantal (Lawrence) Bloomfield, Craig Ballantyne and Felix Ballantyne, his grandchildren Maverick Ballantyne, Chavanna, Camille, Cameron Ballantyne, Gracie Girl and Baby Chris, his sister, Verna (David) Michel, his brothers, Leonard (April) Michel, Allen Michel and Ovide (Tracey) Michel, his nieces and nephews Deanna Caribou, Simeon Ballantyne, Trenton Ballantyne, Colton Ballantyne, Linda Charles, Christopher Charles, Ruth (Leroy) Bloomfield, Pauline (Tommy) Michel, Timothey, Destiney, Shaun (Kelly), Latosha, Ocean, Alanna, Hunter, Summer, AJ, Alysha Michel, Ashla Michel, Eric and Lenny, his aunties and uncles Martin (Margaret) Michel, George (Darlene) Michel, John (Shirley) Michel, Mark (Elizabeth) Michel, Marie Rose Ballantyne, May Michel, Audrey Charles, Stella (Harry) McKay, Doreen (David) Linklater, Roderick (Eliza) Thomas, Eva (Rubert) Ballantyne, Marlene Thomas and Loret (John) Cook, his mother-in-law Sophie Custer, his in-laws Mike (Lorna), Julianne (Leonard), Steven (Karen), Darell, Loretta (Roy), Marina, Mardell and Sandra (Larry), and his god-parents George Modest and Mary Ballantyne, as well as numerous cousins and friends. Michel, his step-daughter Cammie Ballantyne, his nephew Quentin Ballantyne, his grandparents David & Helen (nee Ballantyne) Thomas and Solomon & Eugenie (nee Merasty) Michel, his aunties and uncles Johnny Thomas, Peter Thomas, John (Leanna) Sewap, Joseph Thomas, Moise & Rita Bear, Rosey Morin, Ovide Michel, Jean Sewap, Bill (Chappy) McKay, Fred Charles, Joe (Tobie) Ballantyne and Sam & Caroline Sewap, and his cousins Cameron Ballantyne, Roland Ballantyne, Gary Bluebird Ballantyne, Johnathon Michel, Arthur Morin, Harriet McCallum, Michael Custer, Wanada Sewap, Victoria Canada, Madeline Ballantyne and Justin Michel. A prayer service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2017 at River Park Funeral Home in Prince Albert, SK, Margaret Ferchuk officiating. A wake will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the Wapanacak School Gym in Pelican Narrows, SK. Martin’s funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at St Gertrude Roman Catholic Church in Pelican Narrows, SK, Father Subhash Joseph officiating. Interment to follow at Moise Bear Memorial Gardens in Pelican Narrows, SK.
