RADKE- Marquis Walter, late of Prince Albert, passed away May 24, 2011 at the age of 83, following a brief battle with cancer.
He was born June 18, 1927 in Guernsey, Sask. A few years later the family moved to Carrot River. It is there that he met his wife Molly (Gaja). They were married in September 1949, and together raised four children. Dad moved his family to Prince Albert in 1969 where he worked at the Pulp Mill until his retirement. Some of Dad’s favorite times were spent at the cabin at Candle Lake, fishing, playing cards, watching sports and visiting with family and friends. Dad loved going to Arizona for the winter. Travelling and socializing with the Good Sam Club was a special time for dad, where he met many wonderful people. Dad loved going for coffee and it became a daily ritual.
