 Mark passed away on January 16, 2022, in Big River First Nation, SK. He was born on December 13, 1979. The wake commenced on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at 5:00 PM. The funeral took place on Friday, January 21 at 11:00 AM. Both services were held at Big River First Nation Band Hall, Big River First Nation, SK. Interment following in the Whitefish Anglican Cemetery, Big River First Nation, SK.

Mark is lovingly remembered by, His daughter and granddaughter: Deshye Wahobin her daughter Avery Peeaychew; His son: Zachary Bearboy; His mother: Clara Joseph; His sisters: Marlene Joseph (Terry), Lucy Joseph, Lisa Joseph (Orville); Patricia Joseph (David), Laura Joseph (Clayton), Janelle Whitefish (Shaquille), Serena Whitefish (Preston), Juliet Whitefish, Sheilah Whitefish, Shaelyn Whitefish, Marissa Whitefish, and Angel Harris (Gary); His brothers: Sam Joseph, Marshall Joseph  (Rhonda), Harvey Jr Whitefish, Brandon Whitefish (Marissa); His aunties and uncles: Peter (Albertine) Whitefish, Allan (Edna) Whitefish; Maurice (Lillian) Whitefish, Earl Joseph, Melvin Joseph, Sabina Joseph, and Molly Joseph; Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

Mark was predeceased by, his father: Harvey Whitefish; His paternal grandparents: Moshum George and Lucy Whitefish; His maternal grandparents: Samuel Lachance and Adeline Joseph; His uncles: Andrew, Donald, Raymond, Modest, and Edward Whitefish; His aunties: Sally Whitefish, Ellen Joseph, Angelique McAdam; His cousins: Tyrone Whitefish, Greg Whitefish, Jody Whitefish, Wilson McAdam, Howard Whitefish, and George Whitefish-Thomas; His nephews: Shane Blackbird Joseph and Briel Joseph Keenatch.
