Mark Clarence Gabriel Michel Jr. “Baby Mark” was born on Tuesday, April 18, 2000 in Saskatoon, SK and passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 in Pelican Narrows, SK at the age of 16 years. Mark is survived by his loving family, his parents Mark and Elizabeth Michel, his brothers Micheal (Lori) Michel and their children, Micheala and Micheal Jr., Blair (Tracey) Michel and their children, Blair Jr. and Trenyce, Bret (Alexis) Michel and their child, Caius, and Jerren Michel, his special friend Mercedes Ballantyne, his special brother Maryk Michel, his sisters Jean (Carl) Michel and their children, Jayvin and Jordan, and Dorianna (Dakota) Michel and their child, Demi, his grandmother Emma Sewap, his uncles Martin (Margaret) Michel, George (Darlene) Michel, Dwayne (Marilyn) Michel, John (Shirley) Michel, Brian (Suzzette) Sewap, Angus Sewap, Robert (Amanda) Sewap and Christopher Custer, his aunties Marie Rose Ballantyne, Audrey Charles, Stella McKay, Doreen (David) Linklater, Denise (Russell) Halkett, May Michel, Caroline (Mook) Custer, Flora, Rosie, Mary Jane and Henriette Jobb, his godson Jordan Michel, and his godparents Clifford and Suzette Merasty, as well as numerous cousins and friends and everyone who knew and loved Baby Mark. He was predeceased by his sister Mikayla Michel, his baby niece and nephew, his grandparents Solomon & Eugenie (nee Merasty) Michel and Isaac & Delia (nee McKenzie) Sewap, his aunties and uncles Ovide Michel, Joe (Christina) Michel, Jean Sewap, Bill (Chappy) McKay, Fred Charles, Joe (Tobie) Ballantyne, Sam (Caroline) Sewap, Alois Sewap and Isaac Sewap Jr., and his cousins Cameron B., Roland B., Gary B., Jonathon M., Justin M., Madeline B., Martin M., Brian M., Melvin M., Kevin M., Joe C., Judy C. and Sheila C. A prayer service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at River Park Chapel in Prince Albert, SK. Wake services will be held Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the home of Jean Michel and Friday, February 24, 2017 at the Wapawikoscikan High School Gym in Pelican Narrows, SK. Mark’s funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church in Pelican Narrows, SK, Father Subhash Joseph officiating. Interment to follow at Moise Bear Memorial Gardens in Pelican Narrows, SK. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of River Park Funeral Home in Prince Albert, SK, Don Moriarty, Funeral Director.
