It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, Marie Alphonsine Langlois, who passed away at Good Shepherd Villa on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at the age of 89 years. Marie was born on Tuesday, December 2, 1930, in Bellevue, SK. Marie is survived by her loving family, Estelle (Don), Florence, Raymond (Linda), Lionel (Andrea); her grandchildren, Matthew (Nancy), Sara (Vern), Emily (Kevan), Jason (Chelsea), Brian (Andrea), Steven (Megan), Eric, Amanda, Paul (Hillary), Craig, Jessica (Ryan); her great-grandchildren, Jacob, Danica, Christopher, Paxton; her sisters-in-law, Marie-Ange Bruce, Francoise Langlois; her numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Alfred Langlois; her parents, John and Florestine (nee Parenteau) Bruce; her brothers, Edward and Alphonse Bruce; her brother-in-law, Rosaire. She married the love of her life, Alfred Langlois, on October 17, 1960 in the Batoche Roman Catholic Church. Marie will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m., on Friday, January 31, 2020. Margaret Ferchuk will officiate. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, February 1, 2020, by Fr. Maurice Fiolleau and con-celebrated by Fr. Roque Concepcion. Both at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 1401-4th Avenue West, Prince Albert, SK. Interment will take place in the Garden of Gethsemane, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. It is the family’s request that donations be made to the Sacred Heart Cathedral Capital Appeal.
