Marie “Ben” Johnston, late of Mistawasis, SK, passed away on June 25, 2016 in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 51 years. Ben will be lovingly remembered by: her life-long partner: Murray Sanderson; her daughters: Andrea (Stephen) Dumais and Midori Brownstone; her granddaughter: Kathleen Dumais; her mother: Lorna Johnston; her brothers and sisters: Myrle (Wendy) Johnston of Marcelin, SK., Delores (Uncle Mel) Werchola of Prince Albert, SK., Dean Johnston of Leask, SK., Shirley Johnston of Mistawasis, “Shorty” (Darryl) of Leask, SK., Michael Johnston of Phoenix, AZ., and Lionel Johnston of Mistawasis; her extended sisters: Kim (Kevin) Bear of Crutwell, SK., Carmen Johnston of Sandy Lake, Lori Johnston, Gail Johnston and Carrie Johnston of Surrey, B.C. Ben was predeceased by: her father: Gordon Johnston; her brother: Owen (John) Johnston; her sisters: Pauline, Karen, Myrna, Cora, Wanda and Daryl – Lea; her maternal grandparents: Jack & Annie Isbister; her paternal grandparents: Solomon & Mary Johnston. A Wake Service will be commencing Wednesday, June 29, 2016 – 7:00pm at Mistawasis Family Centre, Mistawasis, SK.
