It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Tyerman, late of Prince Albert, SK on February 28^th, 2025, in Prince Albert, SK.

Maria was born on August 13, 1939, in Weirdale, SK. In 1957 she moved to Prince Albert and started working at the Holy Family Hospital. She later met Carlyle Tyerman and they were married in 1964 and they soon started a family. She then took time off work to raise her family. Later, she worked at Mont St Joseph and Homecare but eventually returned to the Holy Family Hospital and stayed there until she retired in 2004.

Maria especially enjoyed camping with her family and spent many summers at Candle Lake.

Maria is survived by her daughters Lynn, and Fay (Dwayne), her grandchildren Elicia (Ross), Jessica (Daniel), Kiara (Ryan), Jacob, Kayla (Justin), and Chelsea (Murray) and her great-grandchildren Hazel, Kelci, and Aidan; As well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Carlyle, her son Neil, her parents Jim and Maria; and all her siblings.

Maria will be dearly missed by her family.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22^nd, 2025, at 10:00 AM at MacKenzie Chapel, 130 9th Street East, Prince Albert, SK, followed by Burial at Memorial Gardens then lunch to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM.
