Mrs. Marguerite “Margaret” Anna Marcotte, age 90, of Prince Albert, SK, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. The Funeral Service for Marguerite will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at River Park Chapel, family and friends wishing to view the service online may do so at http://www.livememorialservices.com/Home/ServiceDetail/9983 . Margaret Ferchuk officiating. Interment will take place in the Garden of Gethsemane, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.

Margaret is survived by her children Denis (Sandra), Ernie (Denise), Arthur (Katherine), Tom (Maryann) and Jeanne (Gerald Prokulevich); her fifteen grandchildren; her twenty-nine great-grandchildren; her one great-great-grandchild; her sisters, Pauline (Denis) Paulhus, Lorraine (Maurice) Lavoie; her brother, Bob (Bernice) Carrier; her sisters-in-law, Faye Carrier, Pat Carrier, and Hélène Marcotte; her brothers-in-law, Alain & Laurie Marcotte and Albert & Wendy Marcotte; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Antonio “Tony” Marcotte; grandchildren, Amy and Eric Marcotte, in infancy; her great-grandson, Ryan Dawson, in infancy; her parents, Thimalas “Tom” & Anna Carrier; her brothers, Emile Carrier, and Philippe Carrier; her brothers & sisters-in-law, Oscar & Mildred Marcotte, Arthur & Esther Turcotte, Louis Marcotte, Aline & Damien Gignac & Martin Leite.

Marguerite was born on Monday, November 17, 1930, Albertville, SK. She married Antonio “Tony” Rudolph Marcotte on October 28, 1952 and they farmed in Crystal springs until 1957 at which time they moved to Prince Albert. Margaret worked at Humpty Dumpty Child Care Centre; and was a homemaker that was well known for her breads and sweets.
