1928 – 2017

Margaret Robertson passed away peacefully on October 15, 2017 at the Herb Bassett Home in Prince Albert, SK. Margaret was born May 1, 1928 to Kathleen and Neil Henderson. She was one of seven children raised in Paddockwood, SK. Margaret attended Paddockwood school.  Later in life Margaret met Robert James (Bob) Robertson and they were married November 14, 1946. Together they raised two children Rob and Avis. Margaret was a housewife most of her life until her children were older then she took a janitorial job at Red Wing school for about ten years. Margaret enjoyed listening to music. She always seemed to have her radio in the kitchen tuned into her favorite country station. She will always be remembered for her generous heart, her kind and gentle soul and the love she had for her family. Margaret is survived by her son Rob (Sandy) and daughter Avis; her step grandchildren Traci, Terri, Rick, Jim and Betty; her sister-in-law Joyce Henderson. She was predeceased by her husband Robert “Bob”; her parents Kathleen and Neil Henderson; her siblings Florence (Tom) Robertshaw, Laura (Jack) Robertshaw, Sam (Emily) Henderson, Dan Henderson, Louis Henderson, Alec (Hazel) Henderson; step daughter Dale (Harry) Weiss; neice Marilyn Chamberlain; special friend Clarence Heroux. A Private Family Service will be held.
