Margaret Custer was born on Friday, May 20, 1938 in Misty Lake, MB (North of Brochet, MB) and passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016 in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 78 years. Margaret leaves to mourn her passing her children, Chris (Lois), Clarisse “Lala” (Mark Lecoq), Sandford “Sandy”, Suzette (Brian Sewap), Ted (Phyllis Custer), Ronald “Apuk”, Debbie (Frank Ballantyne), Maryann (Joe Michel) and Tony Michel, her brothers and sisters, Gilbert Linklater, Evelyn (Colter) Linklater, Marie Louise Linklater, David (Doreen) Linklater, Susan Custer (Lloyd McCallum), Graham (Eileen) Linklater, Napoleon Michel, Evelyn McCallum and Rosalie Sewap, her in-laws, Madeline Linklater, Mary Ann Custer and Louis Mason, her grandchildren, Chantelle, Walter, Keifler, Lorraine, Robin (Ryan) Sewap, Tanis Lecoq, Brady Ballantyne, Leanne Roberts, Keeston Roberts, Evan R., Draper, Dustin, Donovan, Brianna, Taryn, Joanne, Jerline, Korbin, Jerilee, Tanner C., Tristan Dorion, Megan, Marion, Mitchell, Brooklyn, Chase, Howard “Howie”, Dominic, Chantai and Braxton, her great-grandchildren, Haydon, Chiara, Sage, Shyne, Landon, Lyric, Ocean, Kayan, Paige, Adam, Tray, Kadence, Rylan, Callie, Aiden, Jace, Kayden, Draylin, Drace, Dray, Jackson, Dallas, Dristyn, Dustin Jr., Dondre, Faith, Gerrison, Dymeko and Brodin, and her cousins, Stan and Elizabeth Merasty, Isaac Merasty, Jane Merasty, Helena Merasty, Angelique Ray, Gertie Montgrande, Anne Merasty, Cecilia Merasty and August Merasty. She was predeceased by her husband, Solomon, her parents, Catherine and Peter Linklater, her parents-in-law, Andrew and Ellen Custer, her in-laws, Joseph (Jean), Pierre, Adolph (Darlene), George, Frank, Daniel, Margaret, Marie-Adele, Jeanette and Flora Custer, her grandparents, Angus and Annie Merasty and Magloire and Gloria Linklater (Canada), her siblings, Mary Ann Mason, George Linklater, Helen Merasty, Melvin Jobb, Bruce McCallum and Alma Morin, and her children, Howard Custer, Karen Custer and Arnold Custer, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A wake service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at River Park Funeral Home in Prince Albert, SK, Mrs. Margaret Ferchuk officiating, and continued on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 and Thursday, December 15, 2016 at LAC Hall in Pelican Narrows, SK. Margaret’s funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 16, 2016 at St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church in Pelican Narrows, SK, Father Joseph officiating.
